Wedding Cakes

HISS BAKERY has provided wedding cakes to hundreds of couples over the last 50 years.  Many have returned for their anniversary cakes, some for their 25th and 50th anniversaries!  At HISS BAKERY you can design your cake the way you want it.  There are some suggestions on this web-site, but we're positive you have the best ideas!  Prices are based on the number of people the cake will serve.

Why choose a bakery to bake your special cake over a friend or a home wedding cake provider?

Ask the obvious questions:

Do you actually make the cake as well as bake the cake?

How fresh will my cake be at the wedding?

How many days transpire from the cake being baked / defrosted to being served?

If the cake falls, will you be able to replace it that day?

If you get ill or have a family crisis and cannot bake the cake, is there someone there that can still make and decorate it?

Do you have insurance or worker's compensation?

There is nothing wrong with having a wedding cake whose base is from a frozen cake or mix, just realize that the price of the cake should not be as much as for a cake made fresh.
